Back story

About 20 years ago, Kevin, a northern chef, met Jenni, a southern book editor. Sharing a passion for history and an admiration of beautiful interiors, they travelled the world to learn and develop their business ideas. Some years on, with three children in tow, they embarked on selling decorative antiques and homeware at local markets and county fairs.

Over a decade of hard work, steep learning curves, and constant buying and selling (along with a smattering of stubborness) has enabled them to grow their family business – HAIRSINES – into a veritable showcase of decorative antique pieces, paintings and primitive folkart, restored and on sale at their warehouse in Cambridgeshire.

Quarried from a mix of international trade fairs, European street brocantes, vide greniers and private collectors, HAIRSINES' stock aspires to an exquisite aesthetic:
"the ageless beauty of time-worn materials".©
